In June this year LUMAG company finished a realization of two investment projects realized within the Sectorial Operational Programme - Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises, under Measure 2.3., “Improvement of Competitiveness of SMEs through investments”.
The first project that is the investment in a laboratory of Research & Development department which was equipped in the thermo micro balance (called also a thermo gravimetric analyzer),  made by a German company Netzsch-Gerätebau GmbH.
This device will let us better control the components and raw materials used in our production as well as the ready products.

The second project that is an investment in a modernization of our machine part for a production of brake linings and brake pads for commercial vehicles. Under this measure, in the middle of June LUMAG enterprise installed 2 new hydraulic presses with a pressure up to 600 tons, made by a German company WICKERT Maschinenbau GmbH. These machines will increase our production capacity in a range of friction material pressing by 12,5%.

For each of these 2 projects LUMAG was awarded by a grant of 50% of the total cost of investment.
What is essential – these are not the first investments co-financed from the European Regional Development Found which LUMAG enterprise realized. In 2005 the company was awarded by the grants of 1,98 mln PLN. And it is not the end. The further project are in the process of realization.
