In April last year LUMAG company finished a realization of  investment project realized within the Sectorial Operational Programme - Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises, under Measure 2.3., “Improvement of Competitiveness of SMEs through investments”. Almost one year LUMAG was waiting for signing an agreement for a grant.
This project was a further investment of LUMAG company in a modernization of its machine park for a production of brake pads. Under this measure, in April 2006 LUMAG enterprise installed one backing plate processing line, made by an English company UNITEC UK. Ltd. This machine increased our production capacity in a range of spray coating, cementing and drying processes by 600% and significantly improved a quality of ready product.
For this project LUMAG was awarded by a grant of 50% of the total cost of investment.
What is essential – this is not the first investment co-financed from the European Regional Development Found which LUMAG enterprise realized. In 2005-2006 the company was awarded by the grants of 2,64 mln PLN for 4 projects. And it is not the end. The further projects are in the process of realization.
